LOVE… knows that sometimes being a good person means not being a “nice” person.
LOVE… knows that goodness includes the wisdom and courage to speak the unpleasant or inconvenient truth.
LOVE… knows that goodness includes the wisdom and courage to walk away… without fuss or drama… from an unhealthy situation.
LOVE… knows that goodness includes the wisdom and courage to confront the rampant evils of ignorance, obedience, conformity, greed, exploitation, and bigotry.
LOVE… knows that goodness includes the wisdom and courage to exercise violence, if necessary, to protect the innocent.
In other words, LOVE is not for the ignorant and cowardly.
